Non posso darti soluzioni
per tutti i problemi della vita,
Non ho risposte per i tuoi dubbi o timori,
però posso ascoltarli e dividerli con te.
Non posso cambiare
né il tuo passato né il tuo futuro,però quando serve
starò vicino a te.
Non posso evitarti di precipitare, solamente posso offrirti la mia mano perché ti sostenga e non cada.
La tua allegria, il tuo successo e il tuo trionfo non sono i miei,però gioisco sinceramente quando ti vedo felice.
Non giudico le decisioni
che prendi nella vita,
mi limito ad appoggiarti,
a stimolarti e aiutarti
se me lo chiedi.
Non posso tracciare limiti
dentro i quali devi muoverti,
però posso offrirti lo spazio necessario per crescere.
Non posso evitare la tua sofferenza, quando qualche pena ti tocca il cuore,
però posso piangere con te
e raccogliere i pezzi
per rimetterlo a nuovo.
Non posso dirti né cosa sei
né cosa devi essere,
solamente posso volerti
come sei ed essere tuo amico.
In questo giorno pensavo a qualcuno che mi fosse amico,
in quel momento sei apparso tu…
Non sei né sopra né sotto
né in mezzo, non sei né in testa né alla fine della lista.
Non sei né il numero uno né il numero finale e tanto meno ho la pretesa di essere io il primo,
il secondo o il terzo della tua lista.
Basta che tu mi voglia come amico.
Poi ho capito che siamo veramente amici.
Ho fatto quello che farebbe qualsiasi amico:
ho pregato e ho ringraziato Dio per te.

I can not give you solutions for all the problems of life,
I have no answers for your doubts or fears,
But I can listen to them and share them with you.
I can not change your past or your future,

Your happiness, your success and your triumph are not mine,
But I sincerely rejoice when I see you happy.

I can not draw limits within which you must move,
but I can offer you the space you need to grow.

I can not tell you what you are or what you have to be,
I can only want you as you are and be your friend.

You are neither above nor below nor in the middle, you are neither in the lead nor at the end of the list.
You are neither the number one nor the final number, let alone the claim
