Dimmi madre
cosa vedi
in questo mondo
stravolto e confuso
Dimmi della follia
non troppo celata
di questa umanità
incapace d’amare
Tra le fiamme
bruciano ideali
ed il fumo nasconde
la voglia di cambiare
Dimmi madre
dove si trova
il tesoro nascosto
per capire
Perché ancora
ed ancora
come fenice
si possa ricominciare

Tell me mother
what do you see
in this world
distorted and confused
Tell me about the madness
not too concealed
of this humanity
unable to love
In the flames
burn ideals
and the smoke hides
the desire to change
Tell me mother
where is it
the hidden treasure
to understand
Why still
and again
as a phoenix
we can start again
