Ascolta con attenzione le voci degli animali. Diventa uno di loro. Da ogni creatura affluisce qualcosa dentro di lui. Anche lui emana qualcosa: come e che cosa io non lo so, ma è così. Io l’ho vissuto. Uno sciamano deve appartenere alla terra: deve leggere la natura come un uomo bianco sa leggere un libro.
