I Fairport Convention sono un gruppo folk rock inglese. Fondati da Simon Nicol, Richard Thompson, Ashley Hutchings e Shaun Frater, i Fairport Convention, iniziando come gruppo di cover di rock della West Coast, sviluppano presto un loro stile che mescola il rock con la musica tradizionale folk inglese, contendendosi il titolo di più grande folk rock band inglese con i Pentangle. Dopo numerosi cambi di formazione si sciolgono nel 1979 per riformarsi per un concerto nel 1985, da allora continuano a suonare e pubblicare dischi. In parte il continuo successo che ancora oggi hanno i Fairport Convention è dovuto all’annuale festival di Cropredy, nell’Oxfordshire, ora rinominato Fairport’s Cropredy Convention e che riunisce ogni anno almeno 20.000 fan sin dal 1974.
Fairport Convention are an English folk rock and electric folk band. Formed in 1967, they are widely regarded as a key group in the English folk rock movement.[1]
Their seminal album Liege & Lief is considered to have launched the electric folk or English folk rock movement, which provided a distinctively English identity to rock music and helped awaken much wider interest in traditional music in general. The large number of personnel who have been part of the band are among the most highly regarded and influential musicians of their era and have gone on to participate in a large number of significant bands, or enjoyed important solo careers.
Since 1979, they have hosted the Cropredy Festival, which is the largest such annual event in England. Individually and collectively the members of Fairport Convention have received numerous awards recognizing their contribution to music and culture. As of 2015, they continue to record and tour.

Il passato scava un solco profondo nel cuore, le ferite bruciano e si spera sempre in un sogno, in quella medicina che cura tutto, si accende la fiamma in una speranza che accompagna sulla strada di un futuro migliore, che permette di vivere la meritata felicità. Quanto lunga è stata l’attesa? E poi…senza pazienza correre, volare, dimenticando di fare un passo alla volta, ma inciampare nel mantello che aveva troppe stelle e troppi sogni, che impediva di costruire qualcosa questo è come avere dimenticato che i solchi profondi attendevano un seme, la nostra attenzione a guardare in faccia il passato per essere veramente pronti, dopo avere sedimentato le vecchie ferite, a quella vita che ora attende la vera opportunità per girare pagina e inizare da oggi a vivere attimo per attimo – qui ed ora – la concretezza di chi,senza chiedere qualcosa si offre ed è grato di tutto, delle cose per come esse sono, apre gli occhi alla realtà e abbracciando ogni momento sa essere grato per la lezione che la vita regala. Non è mai tardi per ricominciare, per riconciliare noi stessi con le ferite passate e per essere liberi da ogni peso che impedisce di andare avanti a cuore leggero.

A light heart
The past digs a deep groove in the heart, burn wounds, and you always hope in a dream, in the medicine to cure everything, lights the flame in a hope that goes on the road to a better future, to provide a truly well-deserved happiness. How long was the wait? And then … without patience, run, fly, forgetting to take one step at a time, but trip over the mantle had too many stars and too many dreams, to build something that prevented this is like having forgotten that the deep furrows waited a seed, our attention to face the past to be truly ready, Having settled the old wounds, to the life that now awaits the real opportunity to turn the page and start now to live moment by moment – Here and now – the reality of those who, without asking for something and is grateful for offers everything, of things as they are, open your eyes to reality and embracing every moment he can be grateful for the lessons that life offers. It is never late to start over, to reconcile ourselves with the past hurts and to be free from any burden that can not go forward at a light heart.

C’è un posto nel mio cuore accogliente e sereno dove non si abbatte mai nessun uragano E’ rifugio e dolce calore spazio aperto per gli amici di ogni luogo o colore per il dialogo ed il silenzio E’ colore cangiante nel grigio delle fatiche per riposare e poi ripartire quando è tempo di un nuovo viaggio: Non dimenticare questo luogo abbi cura di te ed apri le ali per riprendere ancora a volare forse un giorno ci rivedremo

Maybe one day
There’s a place in my heart warm and sunny where no ever breaks down no hurricane It is gentle warmth and shelter open space for friends of every place or color for dialogue and silence It is color-changing into the gray of fatigues to rest and then restart when it is time for a new journey: Do not forget this place take care of yourself and open your wings yet to resume flying maybe one day we’ll meet again
Tutto può cambiare, essere colto al volo per opportunità nuove ed invece di restare a terra, in un angolo a rimpiangere quello che non è stato mai, è tempo di aprire le ali e riprovare a volare oltre ostacoli e timore.

I Roxy Music sono stati un gruppo musicale glam rock britannico attivo tra il 1971 e il 1983.
Considerati una delle maggiori influenze per il movimento musicale new romantic e synthpop dei primi anni ottanta, in particolare al riguardo di gruppi come Duran Duran, ABC, Spandau Ballet, Japan.
Roxy Music were an English glam rock group formed in 1971 by Bryan Ferry, who became the group’s lead vocalist and chief songwriter, and bassist Graham Simpson. Alongside Ferry, the other longtime members were Phil Manzanera (guitar), Andy Mackay (saxophone and oboe) and Paul Thompson (drums and percussion). Other former members include Brian Eno (synthesiser and “treatments”), Eddie Jobson (synthesiser and violin), and John Gustafson (bass). Although the band took a break from group activities in 1976 and again in 1983, they reunited for a concert tour in 2001, and toured together intermittently between that time and their break-up in 2011. Ferry frequently enlisted members of Roxy Music as session musicians for his solo releases.
Roxy Music attained popular and critical success in Europe and Australia during the 1970s and early 1980s, beginning with their debut album, Roxy Music (1972). The band was highly influential as leading proponents of the more experimental, musically sophisticated element of glam, as well as a significant influence on early English punk music. They also provided a model for many new wave acts and the experimental electronic groups of the early 1980s. The group is distinguished by their visual and musical sophistication and their preoccupation with style and glamour.[3] Ferry and co-founding member Eno have also had influential solo careers, the latter becoming one of the most significant record producers and collaborators of the late 20th century. Rolling Stone magazine ranked Roxy Music No. 98 on its “The Immortals – 100 The Greatest Artists of All Time” list.
The band’s last studio album was 1982’s Avalon. In 2005 they began recording a new studio album, which would have been their ninth, and would have been their first record since 1973 with Brian Eno, who wrote two songs for it and also played keyboards.[5] However, Bryan Ferry eventually confirmed that material from these sessions would be released as a Ferry solo album, with Eno playing on “a couple of tracks,”[6] and that he doesn’t think they’ll ever record as Roxy Music again. The album ultimately became Ferry’s 2010 album Olympia.
Roxy Music played a series of 40th anniversary shows in 2011, but has since become inactive as a performing entity

Vincitore è chi toglie tutti i pesi inutili dalle tasche i condizionamenti, le paure e la necessità di apparire ed allora inizia la propria corsa alla meta, senza essere frenato,ma libero di essere…quello che è. Quante sorprese potremmo vedere dalle persone, chi stava piegato e schiacciato, non riuscita a fare sbocciare il proprio potenziale,potrebbe irradiare luce e pace da contagiare gli altri,chi è stato costretto a mostrare i denti, come un lupo,che difende il territorio per paura, potrebbe lasciare andare la presa e diventare sensibile al punto da fare scorrrere le lacrime per compassione al sentire la sofferenza di altri. Chi ha sofferto, non sempre ha voglia di fare carico su di sé del disagio di altre persone, si sente incapace di aiutare. Un dialogo sincero, che parte dal centro del cuore, con il coraggio di essere limpidi è quella forza che ci permette di iniziare a correre….per trovarci a volare. Aquile sulla cima della nostra montagna alla conquista di noi stessi, per vedere un mondo di pace e di amore incondizionato.

Unconditional love
Winner is who takes away all the unnecessary weight from pockets,the conditioning, the fears and the need to appear and then begins its run to the goal, without being held back,but free to be … what it is. How many surprises we could see from the people, who was bent and crushed, failed to bloom their potential, could radiate light and peace from infecting others, who was forced to show his teeth, like a wolf, defending territoio for fear,could let go of the grip and become sensitive to the point of tears do scorrrere to feel compassion for the suffering of others. Who has suffered, not always want to take charge of self- the discomfort of others, feels unable to help. A sincere dialogue that starts from the center of the heart, with the courage to be clear is that force that allows us to start running …. for us to fly. Eagles on top of our mountain to conquer ourselves, to see a world of peace and unconditional love.
