PETIT-ONZE

Il Petite – Onze ( Piccolo Undici) è una composizione breve di origine europea, la cui origine viene attribuita alla scuola del poeta e scrittore surrealista francese André Breton (1896-1966) In francese ONZE=undici, dunque “piccolo undici”).

L’idea del poeta surrealista era quella di contrastare la magniloquenza della poesia del suo tempo e costruire un “albero” di parole: se si scrivono le parole al centro del foglio, in alto una, procedendo oltre due, tre e quattro, concludendo sempre con una sola parola, si ha un piccolo albero di parole col tronco.

The Petite – Onze (Small Eleven) is a short composition of European origin, whose origin is attributed to the school of the French surrealist poet and writer André Breton (1896-1966) In French ONZE = eleven therefore “small eleven o’clock”).

The idea of the surrealist poet was to counteract the bombast of the poetry of his time and build a “tree” of words: if you write the words in the middle of the paper, in a high, going over two, three and four, concluding always in one word, you have a small tree trunk with words.
