Signore, proteggi i nostri dubbi, perché il Dubbio è una maniera di pregare. Esso ci fa crescere, perché ci obbliga a guardare senza paura le tante risposte a una stessa domanda. E affinché ciò sia possibile,
Signore, proteggi le nostre decisioni, perché la Decisione è una maniera di pregare. Dacci il coraggio, dopo il dubbio, di essere capaci di scegliere tra un cammino e l’altro. Che il nostro sì sia sempre un sì, e il nostro no sia sempre un no. Fa’ che una volta scelto il cammino, non guardiamo giammai indietro, né lasciamo che la nostra anima sia rosa dal rimorso. E affinché ciò sia possibile,
Signore, proteggi le nostre azioni, perché l’Azione è una maniera di pregare. Fa’ che il nostro pane quotidiano sia frutto del meglio di quanto abbiamo dentro di no. Che possiamo, attraverso il lavoro e l’azione, condividere un po’ dell’amore che riceviamo. E affinché ciò sia possibile,
Signore, proteggi i nostri sogni, perché il Sogno, è una maniera di pregare. Fa’ che, indipendentemente dalla nostra età o dalla situazione, siamo capaci di mantenere accesa nel cuore la fiamma sacra della speranza e della perseveranza. E affinché ciò sia possibile,
Signore, riempici sempre di entusiasmo, perché l’Entusiasmo è una maniera di pregare. È lui che ci unisce ai Cieli e alla Terra, agli uomini e ai bambini, e ci dice che il desiderio è importante, e merita il nostro impegno. È lui che ci dice che tutto è possibile, purché ci impegniamo totalmente in ciò che facciamo. E affinché ciò sia possibile,
Signore, proteggici, perché la Vita è l’unica maniera che abbiamo per manifestare il Tuo miracolo. Che la terra continui a trasformare la semente in grano, che noi continuiamo a tramutare il grano in pane. E questo è possibile solo se avremo Amore – dunque, non lasciarci mai in solitudine. Dacci sempre la Tua compagnia, e la compagnia di uomini e donne che hanno dubbi, agiscono e sognano, si entusiasmano e vivono come se ogni giorno fosse totalmente dedicato alla Tua gloria.
