Lo specchio della vita – The mirror of life

LO SPECCHIO DELLA VITA

Ogni cosa nella nostra vita riflette il punto in cui ci troviamo nel processo di maturazione, unificazione ed equilibrio. Possiamo usare tutto ciò che accade esternamente come uno specchio che ci aiuta a vedere quelle aree dentro di noi che hanno più bisogno di cure per maturare.

Ogni qualvolta abbiamo un problema, soprattutto se si tratta di un problema cronico e ricorrente, si tratta sempre di una freccia che punta verso un qualche aspetto della nostra psiche, al quale dobbiamo rivolgere maggiore consapevolezza.

Se accettiamo il principio che la vita cerca sempre di insegnarci esattamente ciò che abbiamo bisogno di imparare, possiamo vedere tutto quello che ci accade come un dono. Perfino le esperienze che sono spiacevoli e dolorose, contengono un’importante chiave per la nostra guarigione, completezza e prosperità.

Possiamo avere delle difficoltà a capire cosa lo specchio della vita stia cercando di mostrarci, ma se domandiamo con sincerità di conoscere il dono nascosto in ogni esperienza, questo ci sarà rivelato, in un modo o nell’altro.

THE MIRROR OF LIFE

Everything in our lives reflects where we are in the process of maturation, unification and balance. We can use everything that happens externally as a mirror that helps us to see those areas within us that are most in need of care to mature.

Whenever we have a problem, especially if it is a chronic and recurrent problem, it is always an arrow pointing to some aspect of our psyche, which we must pay greater awareness.

If we accept the principle that life is always trying to teach us exactly what we need to learn, we can see everything that happens to us as a gift. Even experiences that are unpleasant and painful, contain an important key to our healing, completeness and prosperity.

We may have difficulty understanding what the mirror of life is trying to show us, but if we ask with sincerity to know the hidden gift in every experience, this will be revealed, in one way or another.

I Sex Pistols sono stati uno dei più influenti gruppi punk rock britannici e una grande icona della prima ondata punk.

L’inizio del gruppo, originariamente composto dal cantante Johnny Rotten, dal chitarrista Steve Jones, dal batterista Paul Cook e dal bassista Glen Matlock, poi sostituito da Sid Vicious, risale al 1975, a Londra. Anche se la loro carriera durò solo tre anni, pubblicando solo quattro singoli discografici e un album in studio, i Sex Pistols vennero descritti dalla BBC come «la sola punk rock band inglese». Il gruppo è spesso indicato come il fondatore del movimento punk britannico^[3] e il creatore del primo divario generazionale con il rock ‘n’ roll.

I Sex Pistols emersero come risposta a ciò che era sempre visto come più eccessivo, come il rock progressivo e le produzioni pop della metà degli anni settanta. Il gruppo creò molte controversie durante la sua breve carriera, attirando l’attenzione su di sé,ma mettendo spesso in secondo piano la musica.^[7] I loro show e i loro tour erano ripetutamente ostacolati dalle autorità, e le loro apparizioni pubbliche spesso finivano disastrosamente. Vicious died of a heroin overdose in February 1979. In 1996, Rotten, Jones, Cook and Matlock reunited for the Filthy Lucre Tour; since 2002, they have staged further reunion shows and tours. On 24 February 2006, the Sex Pistols—the four original, surviving members and Sid Vicious—were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but they refused to attend the ceremony, calling the museum “a piss stain”
