Forse troviamo
quello che cerchiamo
quando davvero
siamo pronti:
per capire,per accogliere
anche le spine
e non solo le rose
che vorremmo.
È giusto creare argini
per le onde invasive,
poi però dovremmo
immergere
i piedi in acqua.

Perhaps we find
what we are looking for
when really
we are ready:
to understand,
to welcome
also the thorns
and not just roses
that we would like.
It is right to create
embankments
for invasive waves,
but then we should
immerse
feet in water.
