Cavalieri e Draghi

Da bambino immaginavo
cavalieri e draghi
che nella giostra dei sogni
accendevano speranza
dove nel carosello acceso
era magia d’infanzia
Ma il tempo ha rubato
la fiamma viva della passione
perchè – attendi – era il motto
ma si è addormentato il cuore

Oggi ho acceso
con un falo ogni cuore
soffiando la polvere
della memoria fatata
che a passi discreti
attraversava la mia vita
e con un sorriso
ogni mistero è svelato:
tutti sono cavalieri
che hanno fatto tacere il drago

Knights and Dragons

As a child I imagined
knights and dragons
that in the carousel of dreams
kindled hope
where on the carousel
was magic of childhood
But time has stolen
the flames of passion
because – wait – was the motto
but fell asleep at the heart

Today I turned on
with a bonfire every heart
blowing dust
Memory Fairy
that in discrete steps
through my life
and with a smile
every secret is revealed:
All riders are
who silenced the dragon
