Non smarrite il cuore

 Amici miei, non smarrite il cuore. Noi siamo stati fatti per questi tempi. Ultimamente ho sentito che molti sono profondamente confusi, e con ragione. Sono preoccupati per le vicende del nostro mondo di oggi. Sono tempi, i nostri, di stupori quotidiani e di rabbia spesso giustificata per il degrado ultimo di ciò che maggiormente sta a cuore alle persone civili e idealiste.

Avete ragione nelle vostre valutazioni. Il prestigio e la presunzione alle quali alcuni si sono ispirati nell’approvare atti efferati contro bambini, vecchi, la gente semplice, i poveri, gli indifesi, i bisognosi, toglie il fiato. Nonostante ciò, vi sollecito, vi chiedo, vi domando per favore di non inaridire lo spirito piangendo questi tempi difficili. Soprattutto non perdete la speranza. Specialmente perchè siamo stati fatti per questi tempi. Sì. Per anni abbiamo imparato, praticato, ci siamo allenati proprio in attesa d’incontrarci esattamente sul campo di questo impegno …

Sono cresciuta nella zona dei Grandi Laghi e so riconoscere una barca capace di tenere il mare quando ne vedo una. In quanto ad anime risvegliate, in acqua non ci sono mai state barche più capaci  di quanto ce ne siano ora nel mondo. E sono tutte molto ben equipaggiate e capaci di inviarsi segnali l’un l’altra come mai nella storia dell’umanità … Guardate oltre la prua, ci sono milioni di barche di anime virtuose con voi in acqua. Anche se la vostra superficie è sferzata da ogni onda in questa tempestosa agitazione, vi assicuro che le lunghe assi di legno che compongono il vostro scafo provengono da una foresta più grande. E’ risaputo che il legno ben venato tiene testa alle tempeste, resiste, regge e avanza nonostante tutto.

In ogni periodo buio c’è la tendenza a perdersi d’animo per quanto è sbagliato o non guarito nel mondo. Non focalizzatevi su questo. C’è anche la tendenza a indebolirsi indugiando su ciò che è fuori dalla propria portata, su ciò che non può ancora esserci. Non focalizzatevi lì. Questo è mancare il vento e non alzare le vele. Noi siamo necessari, ecco tutto quello che possiamo sapere ora.  Ed anche se incontriamo resistenza, più sarà così più incontreremo grandi anime che ci saluteranno, ameranno e guideranno, e le riconosceremo quando compariranno. Non avevate detto di credere? Non avevate detto di ascoltare una voce più grande? Non avevate chiesto la grazia? Non vi ricordate che essere nella grazia significa sottomettersi a una voce più grande? …

Il nostro compito non è quello di fermare il mondo intero tutto in una volta, ma quello di prodigarsi per migliorare la parte del mondo nel nostro raggio d’azione. Ogni piccola e pacifica cosa che un’anima può fare per aiutare un’altra anima, per assistere una parte di questo povero mondo sofferente, sarà d’immenso aiuto. Non ci è dato sapere quale sarà l’azione o chi farà in modo che la massa critica penda verso il bene durevole. Ciò di cui c’è bisogno per un cambiamento sostanziale è una miriade di azioni, aggiungendo, aggiungendo ancora, aggiungendo di più, in continuazione. Sappiamo che non tocca a “tutti sulla Terra” portare giustizia e pace, ma solamente a un piccolo e determinato gruppo che non si arrenderà alla prima, alla seconda, o alla centesima raffica di vento.

Una delle azioni più rasserenanti e potenti che potete fare per intervenire in un mondo in tempesta è stare in piedi e mostrare la vostra anima. Un’anima sul ponte nei momenti bui risplende come l’oro. La luce dell’anima lancia scintille, emette bagliori, fa segnali di fuoco, attizza ciò che è appropriato. Mostrare il faro dell’anima in tempi oscuri come questi – essere tenaci e mostrare compassione verso gli altri – sono entrambe azioni di immenso ardimento e grandissima necessità. Le anime angosciate prendono luce dalle altre anime che sono completamente accese e che la mostrano spontaneamente. Se volete calmare il tumulto, questa è una delle cose più potenti che potete fare.

Ci sarà sempre un momento in cui vi sentirete scoraggiati. Io stessa ho provato lo scoraggiamento molte volte nella vita, ma non gli tengo il posto, non lo prendo in considerazione. Non gli permetto di mangiare nel mio piatto. Il motivo è questo: fin nelle ossa so una cosa, come la sapete voi. Ed è che non ci può essere disperazione quando ricordate il perché siete venuti sulla Terra, di chi siete al servizio e chi vi ha mandato qui. Le buone parole che diciamo e le buone azioni che facciamo non sono nostre: sono parole e azioni dell’Uno che ci ha portati qui. Con questo spirito, spero che scriverete questo sulla vostra parete: “ Una grande nave ormeggiata nel porto è indubbiamente al sicuro. Ma non è per questo che le grandi navi sono state costruite”.

Che questo vi giunga con molto amore e con la preghiera di ricordare da chi voi venite e perché siete venuti su questa bellissima e necessaria Terra.

 My friends, do not lose your heart. We were made for these times. Recently I heard that many people are deeply confused, and rightly so. Are concerned about the events of our world today. The prestige and the presumption which some were inspired by approving heinous acts against children, old people, simple people, the poor, the helpless, the needy, is breathtaking. Nevertheless, I urge you, I ask you, I ask you please not to dry up the spirit crying these difficult times. Above all, do not lose hope. Especially because we were made for these times. Yes For years we have learned, practiced, we trained just waiting to meet exactly the field of this commitment …

I grew up in the Great Lakes area and I know a boat capable of keeping the sea when I see one. As to awakened souls, in water there have never been more capable boats than there are now in the world. And they are all very well equipped and able to sent signals to each other as never before in the history of humanity … Look over the bow, there are millions of boats of righteous souls with you in the water. Even if your surface is whipped by every wave in this stormy agitation, I assure you that the long wooden planks that make up your hull come from a greater forest. And ‘well known that the wood veined defies the storms, resists, supports and advances despite everything.

In any dark time there is a tendency to lose heart for what is wrong or not healed in the world. Do not focus on that. There is also a tendency to weaken lingering on what is out of their reach, about what can not yet be. Do not focus there. This is to miss the wind and do not raise the sails. We are needed, that’s all what we know now. And even though we meet resistance, so most will meet great souls who will hail us, love and lead, and recognize when they appear. Do not you told to believe? You had said to listen to a voice greater? You did not ask for clemency? Do not you remember that to be in grace means to submit to a voice greater? …

Our task is not to stop the entire world all at once, but to make efforts to improve the part of the world in our reach. Every little thing and peaceful soul can do to help another soul, to assist some of this poor suffering world, will be of immense help. We can not know what will be the action or who will ensure that the critical mass to hang durable. What is needed for a substantial change is a myriad of actions, adding, adding more, adding more all the time. We know that it is not for “everyone on Earth” to bring justice and peace, but only to a small, determined group who will not give up the first, second, or hundredth gust of wind.

One of the most refreshing and powerful that you can do to intervene in a stormy world is to stand up and show your soul. Soul on deck shines in the dark moments like gold. The light of the soul throws sparks, emits flashes, makes fire signals, stokes what is appropriate. Show the lighthouse soul in dark times like these – to be persistent and show compassion for others – both actions are of immense bravery and greatest necessity. The anguished souls take light from other souls who are fully lit and that the show spontaneously. If you want to calm the tumult, this is one of the most powerful things you can do.

There will always be a time when you feel discouraged. I myself have experienced the discouragement many times in life, but he did not keep the place, do not take it into account. Do not allow him to eat on my plate. The reason is this: to the bone I know one thing, as you know. And is that there can be no despair when you remember why you came to Earth, who you are serving and who sent you here. The good words we say and the good deeds we do are not ours: they are words and deeds of the One who brought us here. With this in mind, I hope you will write this on your wall: “A large ship moored in the harbor is undoubtedly safe. But it is for this reason that the great ships were built. “
