Luce ed ombra – Light and shadow

“Più luce si raggiunge, più oscurità si scopre; l’oscurità ferita protesta contro la luce. Non si può fare un passo verso l’alto senza fare anche un passo verso il basso; nessuno può raggiungerre il cielo se non è passato per l’inferno. Più ci avviciniamo alla cima più tocchiamo il fondo, ma tutti i fondi sono la superficie di qualcos’altro. Ogni negatività è per forza l’altra faccia di una medaglia positiva.

Quando incominciamo a chiarificarci, ci accorgiamo che in noi c’è di tutto. Il progresso non consiste tanto nell’andare sempre più in alto, quanto nel far decantare tutto ciò che è d’intralcio. Il campo di battaglia siamo noi stessi: è in noi che si incontrano tutti i mondi, dal più alto al più basso, dal paradiso al’inferno. La soluzione non sta nel fuggire tappandosi il naso o facendosi il segno della croce, ma nello scendere in questi mondi e vincerli.

Niente guarisce se non viene guarito a fondo, nè si può scendere nel fondo se non si sale alle cime più alte. Se non vogliamo farci divorare, più intendiamo scendere e più ci occorre una luce potente. Dopo la conquista di ogni cima dobbiamo scendere a portare il potere e la luce giù in basso: soltanto così si trasforma la vita: altrimenti potremo continuare a sublimizzare e a spiritualizzare le cime quanto vorremo, ma la vita quaggiù continuerà nel suo solito caos.

Quando vedete un’ombra molto oscura da qualche parte in voi, qualcosa di davvero doloroso, potete stare sicuri di avere anche la possibilità di raggiungere la luce corrispondente. Sempre troverete che in voi l’ombra e la luce vanno di pari passo: se in voi c’è una capacità, c’è anche la negazione di questa capacità. Ma se scoprite un’ombra molto fitta e profonda, state tranquilli che da qualche parte in voi c’è una grande luce. A voi saper usare l’una per realizzare l’altra.

Se il ricercatore fa sua quest’ipotesi di lavoro, di salire di livello in livello, accettando di percorrere ogni volta il livello corrispondente in basso senza lasciar fuori niente e di portarvi la stessa luce nascosta sotto ogni maschera, in ogni elemento, anche nel fango più oscuro, anche nell’errore più grottesco e nel male più sordido, vedrà che poco per volta tutto si schiarisce sotto i suoi occhi: e non in teoria, ma tangibilmente. Scoprirà allora non solo “cime”, ma “abissi” di verità. Ogni caduta lo costringerà a liberare la verità prigioniera nel fondo.”

If we don’t want to be devoured, the more we intend to go down the more we need a light powerful. After the conquest of each peak we must go down to bring the power and the light downwards: only in this way does it transform life: otherwise we can continue to sublimate and spiritualize the peaks as much as we want, but life down here will continue in its usual chaos.

When you see a very dark shadow somewhere in you, something really painful, you can be sure that you also have a chance to reach the corresponding light. You will always find that in you shadow and light go hand in hand: if there is a capacity in you, there is also the negation of this capacity. But if you discover a very dense shadow and deep, rest assured that somewhere in you there is a great light. It is up to you to know how to use one to realize the other.

If the researcher makes this working hypothesis his own, to go up from level to level, agreeing to go through the corresponding level down each time without leaving anything out. and to bring you the same light hidden under every mask, in every element, even in the darkest mud, even in the most grotesque error and in the most sordid evil, he will see that little by little everything clears up before his eyes: and not in theory, but tangibly. You will then discover not only “peaks”, but “abysses” of truth. Each fall will force him to release the imprisoned truth at the bottom. “
