l’egemonia folle
di chi perseguita
in nome di un simbolo
che separa ogni fratello

ma prendo le distanze
da chi nega la verità
e poi prevarica
perché vuole annientare
il figlio di Davide

I was not there

the excruciating screams
and resignation
of innocent people
in the face of death
I was not there
but I don’t understand
insane hegemony
of those who persecute

but I distance myself
