Quando me ne sarò andato,
dove mai potrò essere?
Sarò qui, nel vento, nell’oceano,
e se mi avrai amato,
se avrai avuto fiducia in me,
mi sentirai in mille modi diversi: improvvisamente
avvertirai la mia presenza.
Non avrai più bisogno di cercarmi.
